Sessions
Individual & Relationship Sessions
To address difficulties related to Mental, Sexual, and Reproductive Health, therapy can take place individually, jointly with a partner, or through a combination of both. Sessions may also alternate between individual and joint work, depending on the nature of the concern and the needs and preferences of those involved.
Individual sessions last 55 minutes and relationship sessions last 75′. They typically take place once every one or two weeks, depending on your availability, the intensity of the concerns you are experiencing, and the therapeutic plan we develop together. As things improve, the frequency of sessions can be adjusted – for example, to once a month or every two months.
Sexual difficulties can often be addressed within a relatively small number of sessions, whether you attend individually or relationally. However, the overall duration of therapy is always shaped together, based on your needs, goals, and priorities.

There are many different therapeutic approaches. In the 21st century, through scientific research, we know which of them are more effective, for longer periods of time, and for which types of difficulties.
If you are not sure which approach best fits your concern, how ready you are to commit to therapy—financially and emotionally—or even what your exact therapeutic request is, it is important to be aware of your options.
Through a cycle of 4 sessions, held weekly or every 15 days, we can assess your needs together and explore your alternatives so that the care you receive best meets your requirements.
